Ron passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the Memorial Hospital in Sackville, NB.  Born in Ottawa, Ontario, on September 14, 1926, son of Stella (Lawson) and Albert Boorne, beloved husband of Danise (Ferguson), cherished father of Stephen (Jessie), grandfather to Jeremy (Dawne), Anthony (Allison), Sarah (Jeremy) and great-grandfather of Valerie, Logan, Elliott and Madeleine.  He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends and his community.

An open memorial service will be held at the Mount Allison University Chapel on Friday, June 27th, 2014 at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ron’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sackville Memorial Hospital via Jones Funeral Home.
