David Beaman Crossman of Sackville N.B
1941-2010 Age 69
Died peacefully Wednesday
Oct 27, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital after a 6 month battle with
cancer.
He was born in Fairfield on June 23 son
of the late Hilyard and Norma (Campbell) Crossman.
David was a member of the Main St. Baptist Church,
attended brotherhood and ushered for many years.
He was employed at the Dorchestor Penitentiary for 29 years. He
retired in 1995 from the position of Coordinator of Security.
David was a man who farmed the land, respected
God’s creation and diligently provided for his family.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years
Marian (Kaye). Three children Roger (Marlene), Darla
(Robert) MacPherson both of Sackville N.B and Leslie (Jana) of
Victoria Corner N.B.. Six grandchildren Adam and Eric MacPherson,
Corey, Bradley, Oliver and Brynn Crossman; Three sisters Gertrude
Greene, Gladys MacKinnon, Leona (Hubert) Smith and 1 brother Rouel
(Pearl), sister in law, Gwen, brother in-law Roger Kaye, sister in law
Gail Kaye and many nieces and nephews.
David
was predeceased by one brother Hilyard, three sisters Barbara Jones,
Mary Lou Proctor and Judith Chambers and 3 brothers in law Jesse
Mackinnon, Willard Jones and Edward Chambers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). At the request of
the deceased, the body will be cremated and there will be a private
graveside committal. All are invited to a time of Tea and Fellowship
at Main Street Baptist Church on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 2 pm to
greet the family and share memories of David.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Main
Street Baptist Church will be gratefully accepted.
