AMMON - The death of Janine Shea, 70, occurred at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital on Friday, March 13, 2009. Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of Rita (LeBlanc) and the late Adelard Arseneau.

Janine loved singing and playing music with her friends. She enjoyed travelling, and most of all spending time with her family and seven grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, Charlie; one daughter, Joanne (Mike) McCarn of Wesley Chapel, Florida; two sons, Jeffrey (Lori) of Fredericton and Robert (Lori) of Moncton; five sisters, Lea (John) Jessulat, Elva Doiron, Maria (Robert) Keenan, Giselle (Yvon) Gallant and Denise (Donald) Arseneau; two brothers, Pat (Geraldine) and Norman (Mona); and seven grandchildren.

Besides her father, Janine was predeceased by one son, Richard, and a sister, Carmen Gillespie.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) from where visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Sunday, March 15, 2009. A funeral service will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 340 Dominion Street, Moncton, on Monday March 16, 2009 at 2pm. Interment will be in the spring.

As per the request of the family, donations in Janine's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
