The family of Mary
Elizabeth Lepp is deeply saddened to announce her
passing on July 17, 2026. Mary, affectionately known as
"Bizzie", passed away peacefully in the early morning at
Sackville Memorial Hospital in Sackville, New Brunswick, with the love
of her family surrounding her.
Bizzie was born on January 14, 1964, in
Toronto, Ontario. She was predeceased by her parents, John MacDonald
and Mary (Henderson), and brother, John MacDonald (Sharon). She is
lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Glen; her children,
Matthew, Brian, Robbie, and Krista (Raphael Janisz); her sister,
Heather (Jim Baskerville); her brothers, Peter (Lynn) and David
MacDonald; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends
and family.
She devoted her early years of
motherhood to caring for her children, husband, and home. She enjoyed
time outdoors gardening, attending her children's baseball games,
reading, and caring for the family's pets. Whether cheering (loudly)
from the sidelines, tending her flowers and plants, or gathering for
family dinners, she found peace and happiness in life's simple
pleasures, and in the people she loved most.
Those who knew Bizzie will remember her
infectious laugh, delightfully twisted sense of humour, strong spirit,
and unwavering determination. She never backed down from a challenge
or a debate. She was resilient, fiercely loyal, and deeply protective
of the people and things she loved.
Later in life, Bizzie and Glen made
their home in Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick, where they found joy and
contentment in country living. Together they enjoyed watching
wildlife, especially hummingbirds, tending their gardens, and spending
peaceful days together.
The family would like to extend their
heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Sackville
Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care and kindness they showed
Bizzie throughout her many hospital stays over the past several
months. Their support and dedication brought comfort to the family and
will always be remembered with sincere
appreciation.
Bizzie's love, strength and humour leave
a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. She will
be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
A time of visitation will take place on
July 23, 2026, between 11 am and 1 pm at Jones Funeral
Home's Port Elgin location, 3 West Main St, Port Elgin.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 25 from 1-4 pm at The Royal
Canadian Legion, Branch 81, Cape Tormentine. Family and friends are
warmly invited to gather to remember Bizzie, share stories, and
celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her
family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be
made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation.
