Colton Russell
Constantine, age 36, of Sackville, New Brunswick,
passed away suddenly on June 19, 2026, much to the deep heartache of
his loving family.
He was born on July 17, 1989 in Moncton,
New Brunswick, the son of Brian and Darlene (Keith) Constantine. He
graduated from Riverview High School in 2007, and went on to have many
adventures, including living on the island of Saint Kitts and Nevis,
before completing a degree in Quality Assurance Testing from NBCC in
2017, where he was deeply cherished by colleagues and teachers
alike.
Colton enjoyed a successful career at
BMM test labs where he quickly rose to the esteemed position of
Director of Quality Assurance. He was so much more than a colleague to
those that knew him, and was admired for his intelligence, kindness,
compassionate leadership, and being an excellent mentor to those who
needed him. Colton had a special talent for making everyone feel seen
and heard, and for being the ultimate problem solver.
Beyond his career, Colton was known for
his quick wit and humour, love of cooking and food, video games, board
games, sports, and his general enthusiasm for life. His shared love of
music, Disney, and fun facts always added so much joy to his happy
home. His eyes would always light up when he spoke of his passions,
and he adored spending time sharing his love of his hobbies with his
precious daughter, Matilda.
He will be lovingly remembered and
deeply missed by his wife of almost 7 years and best friend, Samantha
(Arseneau) Constantine. While they only had a short 14 years together,
their love story is one that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Colton’s love for Samantha was evident in the way that he
looked at her, everything he was and everything he did for her. Anyone
who knew them knew that their love was strong and true. He also leaves
a legacy of love behind in the light of his life and his entire world,
Matilda Pearl Constantine. Colton wanted nothing more than to be a
father to his little girl. He came alive when it came to his daughter
and would do anything in his power to make her smile.
He is also survived by his parents,
Brian and Darlene (Keith) Constantine, his brother Christopher [Holly]
Constantine, his grandmother Elsie Constantine, his grandfather Art
Constantine, his niece and nephew, and so many dear friends. He was
preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Edmund Keith and his
maternal grandmother Myrna (Hopper) Keith.
A time of public visitation will be held
on Monday, June 29th from 7-9 pm at Jones Funeral
Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB, (506-364-1300).
A funeral service will take place the following day on Tuesday, June
30th at 2pm, at the funeral home. All who knew and loved Colton are
welcome to attend to celebrate his life.
The family wishes to thank the kind soul
who stopped to help Colton in his time of need, and the Sackville
Memorial Hospital for doing everything that they could to save our
beloved Colton.
In lieu of flowers the family requests
that donations to assist during this difficult time would be
appreciated. Donations can be sent directly via e-transfer to
