It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darrell Roy Bulmer, age 71, of Upper Dorchester, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Moncton City Hospital.

Born in Sackville, NB, Darrell was a son of the late Roy and Ruth (Ward) Bulmer. 

Darrell was the owner and operator of Sackville Plumbing & Heating for 40 years.  He was an avid golfer, and past president of the Sackville Golf & Country Club.  In his younger years, he loved to play hockey, and continued to enjoy watching hockey and baseball (Go Jays!) into his later years.

Darrell will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Debbie, Upper Dorchester; their children Capt. Cory (Louise) Bulmer, Burton, NB, Michael (Roxanne) Bulmer, Sackville, Andrew Bulmer, Brampton, ON; Holly (Steven) Murley, Point de Bute, NB; 3 grandchildren Nicole, Allison, and Kyle; sisters Diane (Phillip) Locke, Moncton, NB and Pauline (Graham) Allen, Fredericton, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews.  He is already missed by his wonderful dog Penny.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  Cremation has taken place.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sackville Golf and Country Club on Saturday, May 16 at 2 PM, all are welcome to attend.
