It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Diane Marie Knockwood after a valiant battle with Cancer.  Diane passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Born in Shediac, NB, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Yvette (Despres) Demand.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Andrew Knockwood as well as children Remi (Nadine)  Casey, Cocagne, NB, Julien (Lisa) Casey, Cocagne, NB, and daughter Melanie (John) Demand, Rexton NB; grandchildren Kayla, Shaun, Jessi, and Jenny Casey, Ahliya, and Sage Newcombe; two step grandchildren Kenzie and Sadie Sheffar as well as step children Ricky Knockwood (Lacey), Stratford PE, Melissa Knockwood (Kirk), Fort Folly First Nations; fur baby Abby;  brothers Terry (Joanne) Demand, Notre Dame Timmy (Tammy) Demand, Cocagne, NB, Danny Demand Mass, USA, Christopher (Lynn) Demand, Cocagne, NB;  sisters Lisa (Steven) Budis, Mass. USA, Stephanie (Mark) Johnson, Cocagne, NB as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents as well as her maternal grandmother Marie Despres as well as step daughter Erin Knockwood and step grandaughter Scarlett Knockwood.

She was a former caregiver in her working career and this was her true passion, She loved go biking on the side by side with her husband. She is very thankful to the extra mural program as well as Fort Folly First Nations for being there for her when she needed it. As well as Jones Funeral Home for their caring and compassion way.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, Sackville, NB (506) 364-1300 where her funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 2 PM, Life Celebrant Scott Balser officiating.
