Richard’s entire career was spent in the construction industry as it was his passion, and he was also known for being one of the best mechanics in the area.

Richard had six children with his wife Betty. One of his favorite pleasures was spending time with his family, grandchildren, and his great grandchildren. Richard was known for his friendliness, big heart and his storytelling abilities and as a result Richard had many friends. He loved long road trips and enjoyed day trips with his wife Betty. One of his favorite activities was clamming on the beach with his best friend and brother-in- law Chris Kean.
