It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Mae Bowser, 92, at the Drew Nursing Home in Sackville.  Eva went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, April 14, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Lorne and Marion (Tower) Estabrooks.

Eva was an active and devoted member of Main Street Baptist Church.  Known for her big heart, she was a loving and supportive wife to her late husband, Ernest as well as a dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.  Eva had worked with the box factory for many years until its closure then as the Produce Manager with Save-Easy for over 25 years until her retirement.  After retirement, Eva enjoyed her walking club, joining her Thursday morning coffee girls at Patterson's, knitting Christmas stockings, watching curling, any outings with her siblings, and above all, spending time with her family.

Eva is survived by her children; Craig (Vicki), and Susan Bowser (Toby Knockwood), all of Sackville; grandchildren Cody, Conner, Sarah (Cody Dunn), and Justin (Nicole Carter); great grandsons Sebastian and Nathaniel, and their mother Louise, as well as Jax; sisters, Pat (Everett) Estabrooks, Sackville, Barb Wheaton, Cambridge, ON, Betty Wyonch, Orleans, ON; brothers, Lew (Pauline) Estabrooks, Sackville, Jack (Sherry), Swift Current, Sk; her sisters-in-law, Inez Estabrooks, Sackville, and Shirley Bowser, Sackville; brother-in-law, George Estabrooks; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Ernest Bowser; her sisters, Ethel (Harley) Bulmer, Marg (Murven) Bulmer, Joan (Ron) Jones, Donna (Trevor) Wheaton, Carol Estabrooks; Grace Allen, infant sister Joyce Estabrooks, as well as brothers Bonar (Pat), Bob (Doreen), and Bill.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).   A public visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3 pm.  Interment to take place at the Sackville Cemetery at a later date.  Pastor Andrew Swanson presiding.
