It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alice Marie King of Cocagne, NB, and formerly of Springhill, NS, and Sackville, NB.  Alice went to be with her Lord and Saviour on March 31 at Moncton Hospital, at the age of 91.

Born in Wood Point NB,  September 5, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Ward and Orpha(Reid) Ward.

Alice will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lorna Stewart (Gary) New Glasgow, NS;  her son, Eric King, Cocagne, NB; her brothers, Everett "Bud" Ward (Phyllis), and Edward Ward (Judy), of Aulac, NB; her sisters, Mary Lowerison (Ken Sears) of Riverview, NB, and Geneva Hicks, of Sackville, NB.; her grandchildren Evan King (Betty),  Graham Stewart, James Stewart (Julia), Lori Ann Delorey(Christian), Bradley Morrison, and Leanna Morrison, as well as her great grandchildren, Allison Kanipe, Annaliese Delorey, and Maren Stewart.

Alice was predeceased by her devoted husband of 71 years, Elliott King; her brother, Larry Ward; her daughter in law, Ethel King and her granddaughter, Kimberly Stone.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  Public visitation will be held from the funeral home on Firday, April 5, 2024 from 12 pm until the time of the funeral service at 1 pm.  Interment will follow in the Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton.  Pastor Phil Sealy presiding.
