It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Darlene Morris, 66, at the Moncton City Hospital on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.  Karen was born in Sackville, NB, a daughter of the late Frank and Doris (Hopkins) Estabrooks.

Karen adored baking, cooking and gifting pies to her friends.  She was a fan of country music and the bagpipes.  In addition, Karen loved Christmas and family gatherings, and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed a good long chat on the phone.

She will be dearly missed by her special friend, Danny Allen, Sackville; her children, Amanda Murphy, Miramichi, Frankie (Tracy Amos) Morris, Riverview, and Jason (Josie Legere) Morris, Midgic; five grandchildren, Kenny, Anthony, Emilie,  Brady, and Jenna; her siblings, Diane (Wayne) Dupuis, Marilyn Thomas, Beverly (Gary Beale) Estabrooks, and Kevin (Ruth) Estabrooks, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by her brothers, Stewart Estabrooks and Malcolm Estabrooks; a sister Donna McNeill, and a brother-in-law, Ron Thomas.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of her life will take place in the spring followed by burial in the Sackville Cemetery.

For those who wish to do so, donations in Karen's memory may be given to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.

Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting the online memorial at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the Jones Funeral Home Facebook page.
