It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of William Frank "Bill" Goodwin, age 77, of Cap Pele, and formerly of Coburg, NB. Bill passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.

Born in Coburg, Bill was a son of the late Frank and Kathleen (Dale) Goodwin.

Bill had simple tastes and enjoyed crossword puzzles and taking drives to his regular spots each day.  In his younger years, he liked to fish, skate on the brook, play a round of hockey and played drums in a local band, "Vandells".  Spending time with his family was very important to Bill; he was a devoted and loving father and grandfather.

Bill will be dearly missed by his children, Kim (Bob) Cormier, Dieppe, and Steven (Cathy) Goodwin, Cap-Pele; three grandchildren, Megan (Alex) Love, and Jamie and Cameron Cormier, as well as his sister, H. Marie (Shaun) Callaghan, Coburg.

Bill was predeceased by his parents.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  Honouring Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A private family graveside service will take place at the Baie Verte Cemetery at a later date.
