It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Marcel Joseph Arsenault, age 74, of Port Elgin.  Marcel passed away quietly at home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

Born in Port Elgin, NB, he was a son of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Duguay) Arsenault.

Marcel was a quiet hardworking man.  He loved nature and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed his alone time, and remained self sufficient most of his life.

He will be dearly missed by his son Duane (Jennifer), Port Elgin; grandsons Drew (Stephanie) (great grandchildren Hunter and Mason), Brett (Jaylind), and Trent (Raylee); daughter Michelle (Sam) Turco; grandchildren Sarah and Daniel; siblings Gisele, Charlene, Marie, Marcia, Guy, and T-Boy.

He was predeceased by his siblings Allan and Francis.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin and Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  Cremation has taken place and there will be no public visiting or funeral at his request.
