It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Leigh L. Manning, age 74, of Moncton, NB.  Leigh passed away at home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Born in New Carlisle, PQ, he was a son of the late Herbert and Eleanor (Cooke) Manning.

After high school, Leigh attended Mount Allison University graduating with his B.Sc, and B.Ed; from Acadia University with his M.Ed.  He taught at the Riverview High School, then the Moncton High School, retiring after 35 years.  He was a member of the Keith Masonic Lodge, the Eastern Star, and the Shriners.  He was a caring and kind man to all who met him.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Diane (Horsman) of Moncton; sister Veneta Lawrie, Brampton, ON

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his three brothers and a brother in law.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  A graveside service will be held in the Fernwood Cemetery on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 2:00pm with Rev. David Chung officiating.
