It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Margaret Heatley
LeBlanc, 86, of Port Elgin and formerly of Petit-Cap,
NB, on Christmas Day at the Westford Nursing Home. Margaret
was born in Melrose, a daughter of the late Kristopher and Agnes
(Hall) Aasen.
Margaret was a wonderful wife, mother,
grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was everything to her
and her husband. She had a big heart when it came to helping
those in need and less fortunate. She had a great sense of
humour providing constant entertainment to her family, passing along
numerous stories to her grandchildren. During her career as
a teacher, every student held a special place in her heart.
Eventually, she decided to retire in order to enjoy life with her
husband and family.
Her true passion was traveling, and once
retired, she and George loved to travel to different places.
She also enjoyed going to all different places to listen and watch her
husband play music.
Margaret is survived by six children,
Joanne (Daniel) Landry, Robichaud Office, NB, Gerry (Nancy) LeBlanc,
Cormier Village, NB, Jean Bourque, Shediac, Jeannette (Tommy)
Halloran, Trois-Ruisseaux, NB, Richard (Monique) LeBlanc, Moncton and
Karen (Robert) Wells, Sackville; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen
great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, was predeceased by
her husband, George; a grandson, Morgan; a brother Robert, and a
sister Gina.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Homes, Port
Elgin and Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Honouring Margaret's
wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a time of
public visitation at Club d'Age d'Or, Shemogue on Thursday, January
11, 2024 from 1-3:30 pm followed by a celebration of her
life.

charity of the donor's choice.
