It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Brayden Crandall Stright Sr.,
72, of Cape Tormentine, NB, suddenly at his home on Saturday, December
23, 2023. Brayden was born on April 22, 1951, a son of the
late Norman and Mildred (Tower) Stright.
A commercial fisherman by trade, Brayden
also took great joy in attending fishing tournaments. In his spare
time, he enjoyed playing Bingo Blitz on Facebook and spending time
with his family.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of
19 years, Micheline (Nowen) Stright, Cape Tormentine; four children,
Joseph Stright, Denise Stright, Brayden Stright Jr., and Troy Stright;
two stepsons, Brian Vinton and David Nowen; 12 grandchildren; 8 great
grandchildren; his siblings, Helen (Joseph) Arsenault, Elizabeth (Ray)
Campbell, Starr Stright, and Peter (Noreen Snow) Stright, as well as
many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased
by his brothers, Glenn, Frederick and Shane, and his sisters, Violet,
Ada, and Phyllis.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of Jones Funeral Homes,
Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-364-1300). Honouring
Brayden's wishes, cremation has taken place and a service for Brayden
will be held at a later date to be announced.
Donations in Brayden's memory may be
given to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 81 Cape
Tormentine.
