It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Ronald Tower, 77, of Westcock, NB, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 following a lengthy illness.

Born in Sackville, Victor was a son of the late Murray and Mabel (McFadden) Tower.

Victor was an avid outdoorsman who loved a good day hunting and fishing and having bonfires with his family.  He was very musically talented, especially on his guitar.    Victor had worked many years with Atlantic Wholesalers and continued to take jobs following his retirement to keep himself busy.  Twice a day he could be seen walking a 2.5 mile loop around his neighbourhood, rain or shine.

He loved his family and friends, and loved a good game of Auction 45s or just spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Victor will be dearly missed by his wife of 55 years, Linda (nee Methot) Tower, Westcock; one son, Ronald (Laura) Tower, Harvey Station, NB; two daughters, Faye (Randy Flemming) Tower, Westcock and Natalie (Roy) Raymond, Salisbury; nine grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, Jenna, Preston, Travis, Bradie, Hilary, Cora, and Owen; fourteen great grandchildren; a brother Richard (Shelley), Sackville and his sister Norma Ward, Moncton.

Besides his parents, Victor was predeceased by a sister Doris Fagan, a brother David and an infant brother Stanley.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  Cremation has taken place.  A time of public visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am.  Interment will follow in the Westcock Cemetery.

Donations in Victor's memory may be sent to the Westcock Cemetery, the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor's choice.

Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting the online memorial at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the Jones Funeral Home Facebook.
