Jason was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.  He was a big fan of old country music and hockey, in particular the Boston Bruins. He loved a good game of darts and was quite skilled at it. Jason enjoyed spending time with his children and extended family... he loved telling his jokes, and making people laugh.

Jason will be dearly missed by his spouse, Teri Pearson, Timber River; his children, Isla and Hudson Kenny and his step children, Trinity and Kaylee Dutcher, all of Timber River; his parents, Donna Kenny and Doug Nicholson of Upper Cape; his siblings, Crysta (Jason Allen) Nicholson, Lakeville, NB, Crystal (Shannon Gallagher) Kenny, Moncton, Charles (Alysha Blacklock) Nicholson, Timber River, and Lorna Kenny, Upper Cape; his nieces and nephews, Trinity, Jessica, Dawson, and Kohen, as well as numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and dear friends.

Jason was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents, George and Mildred Kenny and Elvie and Grace Nicholson, as well as a brother at infancy, Andrew.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-364-1300).  A time of public visitation and support will be held from the Port Elgin location, 3 W. Main Street, on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.

For those who wish to do so, donations in memory of Jason may be given to the family to be used toward his children's education and future.
