It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ethel W King, 67, of Cocagne, NB on Friday, May 5, 2023 with her loving husband by her side, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB.  Born in Winnipeg, MB, Ethel was a daughter of the late Mac and Dorothy (nee Grant) Fielden.

Ethel was an avid photographer with a keen eye for seeing beauty in the local wildlife and scenery.  She had worked as an administrator in automotive repair and heavy equipment finning before becoming a legal assistant which she would enjoy until her retirement.  She was a fantastic and loving wife and mother who will be dearly missed.

Ethel is survived by her husband, Eric King, Cocagne; her son, Bradley (Sara) Morrison, Dutch Settlement, NS; her daughter, Leanna Morrison, Saint John, NB; her sisters, Eva (Bruce) Peebles, May Fielden, and Lyn (Frederik) Smith-van Mulligan; her brother,  Glen Fielden; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB.  A time of visitation will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral at 2 pm.  Interment will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.  Pastor Phil Seely presiding.

Donations in memory of Ethel may be done to a charity of the donor's choice.
