It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Noreen Frances Brammah, 84, of Baie Verte, NB, at the Moncton City Hospital on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Noreen was born in New Glasgow, the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Hood) Parks.

Noreen was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her pastimes over the years were knitting and crocheting. She would knit her children and grandchildren many, many pairs of socks. Her latter years were filled with cutting out patterns for PEDVAC mittens of which she did for the last eight years or so.

She will be deeply missed by her sister, Barbara Ann Barrow, Port Elgin, NB, her children; Debbie Mitchell, Heather Neilson, Peter and David (Sandy) Brammah; her 8 grandchildren, Shannon Mitchell, Matt Mitchell, David Mitchell, Rob Martin, Callie Martin, Leigh Martin, Jesse Neilson, and Ashley Neilson; her 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Noreen was predeceased by her daughter, Pamela Gail Martin.The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Corinna Powers and the Port Elgin Health Clinic for taking care of mom over the last few years.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-364-1300).  Honouring Noreen's wishes, there are to be no services at this time.
