It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rosaline Mary Sears, 82, of Upper Sackville, NB at the Drew Nursing Home on Friday, March 3, 2023.  Rosaline was born in Sackville, a daughter of the late Joseph and Edmee (Lirette) Bourque.

Rosaline was a "mother" to many.  She baked a cake every day and always had cookies on hand.  She kept pride in her home and baking and kept a spotless home.  She was very kind hearted and never said no to anyone who needed a helping hand.

Rosaline loved her family and was a deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be remembered for her perfectly coiffed hair and infectious smile.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Reg Sears of Upper Sackville; her children, Terry (Dana) Hicks, Stacey (Denis) LeBlanc, Tanya (Luke Caissie) Sears, Shane Sears, and Megan (Jeff Ring) Sears; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren, as well as her special extended family, Rosemary and Reggie with whom she was like their second mother.  She will also be missed by her siblings, Anita (Harley) Hicks, Desmond (Janet) Bourque, Edna (Jasper) Sears, Raymond (Shirley) Bourque, and Eva (Larry) Hicks, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Rosaline was predeceased by her sisters, Claire Sears and Bertha Bourque.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the dedicated Drew Family who have taken such great care of mom for the past few years.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  Honouring Rosaline's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are to be no services at this time.
