It is with sadness we announce the passing of Herbert "Herb" MacKay MacDougall, age 75, of Wood Point, NB.  Herb passed away with his loving family by his side on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in New Glasgow, NS, he was a son of the late Herbert and Margaret (MacKay) MacDougall.

Herb loved to travel, seeing much of the world with his partner Keith.  He was a generous soul with an amazing sense of humour.  He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed by his partner Keith Tower, Wood Point; step daughter Kimberlie (Alex) Matteau, Wellington, NS; grandchildren; Andrew, Katie, Nic, and Luc; special friends Gudrun MacWilliams and Judy MacLeod.

Herb's family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff, nurses, and doctors at the Moncton Hospital, unit 3600.

Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of the Jones Funeral Home, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where an Afternoon of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm.  Interment will take place in the Sackville Cemetery in the spring.
