Silva Audrey
Trenholm graced this earth on March 19,
1926. She lived 96 years before her spirit returned to our
maker on Dec. 24, 2022 at the Moncton City Hospital.
Our lives were bettered by her knowledge of life, good food,
thriftiness, long-term thinking and her insistence to hold to
God’s unchanging hand.
Silva was married to the late Lawrence Trenholm who passed
away Dec. 28, 2014. Silva was born in Murray Corner, NB the
daughter of Eileen (Trenholm) Pauley and Willis Pauley. She
was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She
was predeceased by her parents, brothers, Leslie, Hermon, Melton,
Merville, Otis and Levi who died at a young age and sisters, Hazel,
Ramona and Agnes.
Silva will be sadly missed by two daughters, Ann (Earl)
Pauley of Bunberry, PEI, Bonnie (Robert) Goodwin, Shediac Cape, NB,
five grandchildren, Terry, Stacey, Jeffrey, Nathan and Mark, several
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Silva retired from bookkeeping for L.C. Trenholm Fisheries
Inc. after 40 years of service. She was acting treasurer for
the Ocean View Pentecostal Church from its humble beginnings until she
retired and the church sadly closed. Silva enjoyed going
out to eat and inviting grandsons, friends, and sisters to go along.
She was always active.
