It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wilfred Thomas Mills, 70, of Midgic, NB, at the Drew Nursing Home on Monday, December 12, 2022.  Born in Springhill, NS, Wilfred was a son of the late Oliver and Margurete (Moore) Mills.

Wilfred was a sheet metal worker with IMP Aerospace in Amherst for over 30 years.  He was a Jack of all trades and in particular, enjoyed spending his time tinkering with electronics.  He was a lover of all animals, and in particular, his dogs.

Wilfred was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He loved spending quality time with his family.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 40 years, Dianne (nee Richard), Midgic; one daughter, Natasha (Richard Woods) Mills, Midgic; two granddaughters, Abigail and Bridget; his siblings, Yvonne Mills, Amherst, Myrna Bell, Truro, and Robert (Colleen), Southbrook, NS; sister-in-law, Joyce (Wayne) Thompson, Miramichi, and a brother-in-law, Allan (Jeannette) Richard, Sackville, as well as several nieces, nephews, good friends and the fur-babies.

Besides his parents, Wilfred was predeceased by his brothers, Doug, Leslie, Ronald, and Lloyd.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  Honouring Wilfred's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are to be no visitation or services at this time.

Donations in memory of Wilfred may be made to a local chapter of the SPCA or CARMA.
