It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Phyllis Eileen Carson, age 88, of Sackville, NB, at the Drew Nursing Home on Friday, November 18, 2022.

Born in Port Elgin, NB, she was a daughter of the late Alward and Hazel (Johnson) Fagan.

Phyllis was a great supporter of her husband Jim and his volunteer work at the Sackville Fire Department where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.  She attended the Sackville United Church where she participated in the UCW.  She was a former member of the Ruby Rebekah Lodge.  She enjoyed time on the farm, and being around horses.  She worked at the Kennel Club, Marshlands Inn and Henderson's Pharmacy for many years.  Most important to her was her family; her husband, her children, grand and great grandchildren.  She was a family leader who made sure every one was looked after and taken care of.

Phyllis will be dearly missed by her children Donnie, Amherst, NS, Bob (Dianne) Carson, Sackville, NB, and Barbie (Roland) Crossman, Edmonton, AB; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister Vivian (Garry) Steeves, Moncton, NB; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Jim; Donnie's wife, Barbara (Carroll) Carson; grandson Logan Crossman; brothers Don, Jack and Ernie Fagan.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Public visitation will take place on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm followed immediately at 4 pm by her committal service in the Sackville Cemetery beside her beloved husband.

Donations in Phyllis' memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.

The family invites you to sign the online book of condolences at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the Jones Funeral Home Facebook Page.
