It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Grace Allen, 89 years of age, of Sackville, NB, on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital
Born in Sackville, NB, Grace was a daughter of the late Lorne and Marion (Tower) Estabrooks.
Grace was born, brought up, and forever lived on Fairfield Road in Sackville. Grace loved to walk and enjoyed looking after her property. An amazing cook, she was renowned for her Milk Rolls, and Sticky Buns. Grace was an active lifelong member of the Main Street Baptist Church. Grace had worked in retail but her full time job and passion was looking after her family.
She is survived by sons Dan (Rina), Moncton, James (Tammy), Malden, NB, Vernon (Jocelyn), Bass River, NB; 5 grandchildren, Matthew (Lisa), Derek (Cara), Erica (James), Jessica (James) and Nicole (Anthony); 3 great grandchildren, Zach, Grace, and Emmett; sisters, Barb (Chester) Wheaton, Cambridge, ON, Betty Wyonch, New Orleans, ON; brother, Jack (Sherry), Swift Current, SK.; her Sackville family; sisters, Eva Bowser, Inez Estabrooks, Pat (Everett) Estabrooks; brother, Lew (Pauline) Estabrooks; her brother-in-law, George Estabrooks; as well as many nieces & nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Ethel (Harley) Bulmer, Marg (Murven) Bulmer, Joan (Ron) Jones, Donna (Trevor) Wheaton, Carol Estabrooks; infant sister Joyce Estabrooks; brothers Bonar (Pat), Bob (Doreen), and Bill; as well as her brothers-in-law, Danny Moore, Keith Wyonch, and Ernest Bowser.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). from where a time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, October, 19 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2 pm. Interment to follow in the Sackville Cemetery. Pastor Andrew Swanson presiding.
