It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth 'Bette' Nora Copp, formerly of Amherst, NS and Baie Verte, NB, at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton on Tuesday October 11, 2022.   Bette was one month shy of her 96th birthday.  Born in Ingelow, MB, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Susan (MacQuarrie) Clark.

After finishing school, Bette went to Winnipeg where she studied dressmaking.  Later she moved to Toronto to teach sewing.  Aubrey and Bette met in Toronto where they married and moved to Baie Verte, NB, later moving to Goose Bay, Labrador and then to Elmsdale, NS.  They would eventually retire and return to their home in Baie Verte to enjoy traveling together throughout Canada and the US.

Bette will be dearly missed by her children, Linda Copp, Moncton, Sheryl (Bob) Cowcill, Edmonton, Judy (Mike) Bolen, Arthur, ON, and daughter-in-law, Norma Copp, Red Deer, AB; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brothers, Arthur and Cecil Clark as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey; a son, Rodney and an infant son, Dale, as well as several brothers and sisters.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Homes, Sackville and Port Elgin  NB (506-364-1300).  A graveside service will take place at the Fernwood Cemetery on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 1 pm.  All are welcome to attend.

Donations in memory of Bette may be made to a charity of one's choice.
