It is with profound sadness that we announce the accidental passing of Gerard Robert Landry, age 72, in Saint-Léonard, NB, on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

Born in Sackville, NB, Gerard was a son of the late Gerard and Edna (Melanson) Landry.

Gerard worked his life as a chartered accountant, working for Grant Thornton, moving around as required.  In his retirement, he enjoyed time on his motorcycle and loved golfing.  He loved his family, spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He looked forward to escaping the Maritime snow by going south in the winter for the last many years.

Gerard will be dearly missed by his loving wife of over 50 years, Kathryn (Sharpe) Landry, Sackville; his son Jason Landry, Cornwall, PEI; daughter Renee (Robert) Dixon, Fort McMurray, AB; 3 grandchildren, Jocelyn Landry, Marielle Landry, and Blake Dixon; siblings Edgar (Rosie) Landry, Sackville, Victor (Sandie) Landry, Sackville, Janice Landry, Moncton, Dennis (Sheila) Landry, Sackville, Jacques Landry, Sackville; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  A private family gathering will be happening in the days to come.
