It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Robert Borden Estabrooks, age 102, of Sackville, NB.  Borden passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the Westford Nursing Home in Port Elgin.

Born in Midgic, NB, he was a son of the late Harold and Faith (Fillmore) Estabrooks.

Borden spent his working life running a successful Insurance and Book Keeping Business.  He very much enjoyed spending time fishing and gardening. He was an avid Blue Jays and Maple Leaf Fan, as well as anything Toronto.

Borden was very active in his church for many years serving as a deacon, financial secretary, member of the trustee board and leading the Brotherhood.

Borden was predeceased by his brothers Knapp (Lottie), Parker (Selma), Floyd (Joyce), and Emerson (Shirley); and sister, Lillian (Joe) Henwood.

Borden is survived by his loving wife Joyce; and sons, Kirk (Della), Peter (Vicki), all of Sackville, NB, and daughter, Meredith Blackmore of Regina, SK; grandchildren, Samantha (Blaine) Milner, Brad, Kristin, Ryan, Christopher (Marina), Alex (Emma); and two great grandchildren, Melody and Watson.

Borden's final arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 pm.  His funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2 pm, Pastor Andrew Swanson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.

Those wishing to make a donation in Borden's memory may do so to the Main Street Baptist Church, Heart & Stoke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
