It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Russell Boyd Stephens, 66, of Sackville at the Drew Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

Boyd was born August 26th, 1955 and was the son of the late Harley and Irene Stephens.  

Boyd enjoyed many activities. He loved to watch baseball and hockey especially his Toronto Maple Leafs. Boyd was an avid harness racing fan and enjoyed going to Charlottetown to watch the horses race.

Boyd is survived by his brother, Gordon from Rexton, NB, and his sister, June Hicks, Sackville NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother Irene;  his father Harley; his brother Dale; his brother-in-law David Hicks; and his sister-in-law, Susan (Stright) Stephens as well as two infant brothers, Leslie and Larry.

A very heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Drew nursing home. Your kindness and support for Boyd will always be remembered.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300)  Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at the Sackville Cemetery at a later date.

In memory of Boyd, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
