It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Evelyn Lena Trenholm, age 93 of Cape Tormentine, NB.  Evelyn passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville.

Born in Bayside, NB, she was a daughter of the late Eldred and Myrtle (Allen) Trenholm.

Evelyn was very devoted to her family and always loved having a kittycat around.

Evelyn will be dearly missed by daughter Sheron (Derrell) Sears, Armstrong, BC; son Jerry (Wanda) Trenholm, Riverview, NB; grandchildren, Sonia (Julian) Boucher, Daniel (Jennifer Naples) Boucher, Lena (Doug Braun) Trenholm, and Meghan (Francis) Best; great grandchildren Haidyn Boucher, Owen and Austin McConnell, Grace, Gloria and Gabriel Best; sister Vivian Allen, Cape Tormentine and Frances Robertson, Souris, PE; sister-in-law Judy Trenholm, Bayfield.

She was predeceased by her first husband Austin; her partner of nearly 30 years Gordon Sprague; grandson, Gerald, 2 great granddaughters; brother Laurie Trenholm.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin and Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  A graveside service will be held in the Bayfield Cemetery on Saturday July 16, 2022 at 2 pm, all are welcome to attend.
