It is with sadness that we announce the passing of
Roger Joseph Maurice Methot, 93, of
Sackville at the Drew Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Roger was born in Moncton, a son of the late Napolean and
Olga (Ammon) Methot.
Roger was a hard worker all of his life and was a
great carpenter who built many homes in addition to having worked for
CNR for 38 years. He and
his wife loved to square dance, and they always enjoyed a good feed of
seafood. Roger
was a soft hearted and caring gentleman who loved to travel, and for
many years wintered in Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Jean (nee
Brownell); children Linda (Victor) Tower, Robert (Cathy), Debbie
Breau, David (Charlene); eleven grandchildren, fifteen great
grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren, and a sister Doris
Methot.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son
James, his sister Theresa Tower, his brother John, and two
grandchildren in infancy, Robert Jr. and Amy.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude
to the staff of the Drew Nursing Home for their compassion and care
during his stay there.
