It is with great sadness that we announce the
passing of Sharon Dianne Crosthwaite, 69,
of Dorchester Cape, NB, on Monday, April 11, 2022. Sharon
was born in Sackville, a daughter of the late Vance and Margaret
(Thompson) Goodwin.
Sharon loved cooking, gardening and
fishing. She had a charitable heart and adored animals of
all kinds, in particular her fur buddy, Chico who paid her many
welcome visits. She was an avid follower of "her
stories" on TV, especially Days Of Our Lives and Doc Martin, as
well as numerous game shows. She had a wonderful sense of
humour and enjoyed a good practical joke.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Laurie
Ann (Stephen) Wesselby, Sackville; her sisters, Brenda (Brian)
Johnson, Sandra Leard, Janice (Billy Phinney) Tower; her brothers,
William, Allen (Patricia), and Cedric (Beulah); her sister-in-law,
Dorothy Bisco, as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by
brothers, Ronald, Leon, and Kenny, as well as two siblings in
infancy.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt
appreciation to Ray Trenholm, Lisa Richard, Wayne & Stephen
Crosthwaite, Brock Grover, and Gary Payne for their incredible
compassion and assistance with mom during her illness.
Additionally, a sincere note of appreciation to each and every one who
help with mom during this time.
Thank you to Extra Mural, Bayshore Home Health and
her home care worker, Gloria, who provided hours of entertainment and
laughter for Sharon and her family. Without your assistance,
we would never have been able to keep mom comfortable at home for as
long as we did.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Honouring Sharon's wishes,
cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will
