"Make the Ordinary Come
Alive"
~ William Martin ~
Do not ask your loved ones
to strive for extraordinary
lives.
Such striving
may seem admirable,
but it is a way of foolishness.
Help them instead to find the
wonder
and the marvel
of an ordinary life.
Show them the joy of tasting
tomatoes, apples, and garden
peas.
Show them how to
cry
when pets and people die.
Show them the infinite
pleasure
in the touch of
a hand.
And make the
ordinary come alive for them.
The extraordinary will take care of
itself.
In her 80th year, Betty headed North to be reunited with the love of her life Henry, her twin brother Bill, her parents and her great grandson, Cooper.
Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren saw her off knowing she would be happily embraced in the arms of her loved ones.
