It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Levi Joseph LeBlanc, age 83, of Sackville, NB.  Levi passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Sackville, he was a son of the late Amos and Alvina (Melanson) LeBlanc.

Levi was an avid gardener.  He was a very hard worker and loved to cut and pile his own wood.  He had a lifelong love of the Montreal Canadians.  He has been a friend of Bill W for almost 50 years.  He looked forward to taking trips to the Island to attend the Horse Races, or watch them on television.

He is survived by his children, Danny (Kerri), Denis (Stacey), Darlene (Ray Cormier) Estabrooks, and Denise (Brian) Wry, all of Sackville; a son-in-law, Leigh Estabrooks, Sackville; eight grandchildren, Amanda (David) Beal, Colt, Jessie, Jordan, Amy (Grant) Palmeter, Matthew, Sebastian, and Noah; seven great grandchildren, Skyler, Peyton, Hannah, Keenan, Maddison, Jackson, and Bryor; brothers Leonard (Beatrice) and Edgar (Gloria), both of Sackville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Evangeline "Vangie" in 2019; sister Irene Estabrooks; brothers Charles, Henry, Emile, Ronald and Rene.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  A time of visitation at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 2 until 4 PM and 6 until 8 PM.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11 AM, Father Charles Broderick officiating.  In keeping with government regulations, those who wish to attend are required to show proof of double vaccination and a government ID, as well as remain masked, at both visitation and the funeral.  Pre-registration to attend the funeral by emailing [email protected] is recommended.

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the one's choice.
