It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Odis Duncan Crawford on December 9, at the Moncton City Hospital after a lengthy battle with Multiple Myeloma.

He leaves behind the great love of his life, Neita (Allen) Crawford of 64 years, and his children Lillian (Donald) Davis, Elizabeth (Scott Mullin) Crawford, Denise (David) Gormley, Paul (Angela) Crawford, Steven (Dawn) Crawford, whom he loved very much, as well as his grandchildren, Benoit and Annie Crawford-LeBlanc (Gilbert), Arielle (Matt) Hazel, Mercedes (Kyle) Crawford, Abby Hodder, Jacqueline (Brent) Peters, Lydia (Sam) Gormley, Ellen (Larry) Davis, Evan Davis, Kevin Crawford and Mikayla Hand - whom he adored, and a very special great grandson, Connor Hazel, as well as his sisters, Joyce (Arthur) Perry and Jean Crawford.

Odis was a lifelong fisherman and boat builder, a job and passion he loved very much.  He was a hard worker all of his life and was always ready and willing to help everyone in need; an active member of his community, you could always count on him to be there.  He was a man with a big heart, very devoted and generous to his family and friends.  He greeted his sickness with a positive attitude and always a warm smile for everyone who cared for him, known to be a quiet and loving person and true gentleman to the very end.

Besides his parents Trueman and Annie Crawford, sister Mary Walton (Powell), daughter in law, Gail Crawford and infant daughter, Suzanne Charlene.

Thanks to his homecare workers, Rose MacLelland and Gwen Phinney, Extra Mural, Dr. Stewart, Dr. Abdel Samad, Dr. Landry-Darisme, Dr. Theriault, Dr. Gillette, Dr. Mullins, and all the wonderful and caring nurses in palliative care at the Moncton Hosptial and Westford Nursing Home for their support and comfort along his journey.
