It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of Olen Roderick Alder, 83, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Born in Anderson Settlement, NB, Olen was a son of the late Sydney and Jessie (Cadman) Alder.

Olen will be dearly missed by his sister, Debbie Alder, Sackville; his brother, Austin Alder, Sackville, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Olen was predeceased by five siblings, Charlie, Violet, Ernie, Hilda, and Arnold.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  Honouring Olen's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will be held at the Midgic Cemetery on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 2 pm.

Donations in memory of Olen may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation.
