It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Marita "Mary" Reade Sprague, age 89, of Sackville, formerly of Bayfield, NB.  Mary passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

Born in Bayfield, NB, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Rebecca (Allen) Fitzpatrick.

Mary lived in the Maritimes in her younger years.  She later moved to Ontario where she worked as a hospital admin clerk until her retirement, when she returned home with her husband Stan.  Mary loved to bowl and attend Bingo.  She was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary will be dearly missed by her daughter in law Liza Sprague, Sackville; grandchildren, Ryan (Renée), Riverview, Joshua (JJ Wilson), Ottawa, and Nicole, Red Deer AB; great grandchildren Mitchell, Max, and Riley; sister Faye Johnson, Sackville; brother Max Fitzpatrick, Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Stanley, sons Jim and Daniel "Dan" and 11 siblings.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, Sackville, NB, 70 Bridge St (506-364-1300).  A committal service will be held for Mary in the Jones Funeral Home, Sackville on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11 am.  All are welcome to attend.  A time of refreshment will follow.  Internment will take place in the Bayfield Cemetery.  Proof of double vaccination, a Gov't ID, and wearing a mask is required to enter the committal service at the funeral home.

Donations in memory of Mary may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
