It is with deep sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Kevin Ronald Fury, age 54, of Grand Digue, NB, formerly of Amherst, NS.  Kevin passed away at home on Friday, June 18, 2021. 

Born in Sackville, NB, he was a son of the late Ronald and Florence (Gouthreau) Fury. 

Kevin was a caring and helpful person with a long list of friends and acquaintances. If you needed a hand, Kevin always made a point to help out.  He enjoyed all types of music, from soft to heavy.  He loved sports and enjoyed playing hockey and baseball.  If he wasn't playing sports, he was watching it, and was a diehard Boston Bruins fan.  As a licensed electrician, he worked in many provinces throughout Canada.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Claudette Schmeisser, Grand-Digue, NB; son Jesse Ogden, Amherst, NS; Sophie Ogden (Devon Embree), Springhill, NS; grandchildren Davis, Avery and Tommy; siblings Sherry (Darren) Bickerton, Amherst, Sandra Trenholm, Edmonton, AB, Cathy (Peter) Smith, Amherst, Wanda Fury (Dave Pinto), Edmonton, AB, Dwayne (Julie Bedard), Dieppe, NB; several nieces and nephews as well as special friends Chris and Melissa Kaye, Moncton, NB. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Stephen.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where public visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm.  A private family funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2 pm.  The funeral service will be Livestreamed and made available by visiting his obituary on the funeral home website.

Donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the SPCA.
