It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Chyrl Emlyn
Fields, 74, of Little Shemogue, NB, on Saturday, May
15, 2021 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Born in
Chapman's Corner, NB, Chyrl was a daughter of the late Job and Agnes
(Pauley) Fields.
Chyrl graduated from the Port Elgin
Regional High School in 1969, the only one in her family to do
so. She then attended the New Brunswick Institute of
Technology where she became an LPN. Following graduation,
she worked at the Moncton Hospital for 31 years. She adored
her animals, especially her little dog Bandy (Short for bandages and
band-aids) whom she would take to work with her to entertain the
patients. She was blessed with her cat Meskie who saved her
from a fire in 2013. More can be read here,
https://www.purina.ca/animal-hall-of-fame/2014/meskie. Chyrl
loved all animals and enjoyed feeding the many birds and chipmunks
around her home.
Chyrl will be dearly missed by her
sister Alein (Harold) Trenholm, Portage Vale, NB; brothers Gary (Judy)
Fields, Little Shemogue, NB, Derek Fields, Whitehorse, Yukon; sisters
in law Connie Fields, Moncton, NB and Mary Fields, Melrose, NB, as
well as special friends Rose (Cecil) MacLelland, Cape Spear, NB, and
Ann Dulenty of Murray Corner, NB.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by her brothers Roger and Hinson as well as an infant sister
