It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Marcel Euclide Fahey, 38, of Frosty Hollow, NB.  Marcel passed away at his home on May 2, 2021.

Marcel was the son of Carol and Ernest Fahey, Upper Sackville.  He is survived by his sister, Jessica (Sean) Eddingfield, and brother, James (Naomi Clarke) Fahey; his biological father, Romeo Gaudet, as well as Marcel's beloved daughters, Mikaelah Phinney and Alexis Fahey, as well as many close family members and dear friends.

Marcel had a special place in his grandmother's heart, Jeannine Gauvin.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Euclide Guavin; his paternal grandparents, Frederick and Lillian Fahey, and by his cousins, Jason Cormier, Monica Cole, and Garry Johnson.

Marcel was full of charm and had a great sense of humour.  He was quite competitive in sports and was nominated the best athlete in 2002 for his squadron at boot camp despite suffering an injured hand through a motor vehicle accident.  He was an avid fan of all types of music.  Marcel loved working with his hands and was becoming very skilled in the carpentry field.  He was always up for a challenge that most would not dare to take.

Marcel was one big kid and would get along with every child he met.  He was happiest when he was with his daughters.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  At the request of the family, cremation has taken place and there is to be no visitation or services.

Donations in memory of Marcel may be made to The Humanity Project, Moncton
