The death of Wendall Alexander MacLean, 81, of Sackville, occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Wendall was born in Prince Edward Island before moving to Sackville, NB. He was the son of the late William and Gertrude (Dennis) MacLean.

Wendell had been an employee with Correction Services Canada up until his retirement.

Wendell is survived by two sons, Peter and William MacLean; his common-law-partner, Rose Kay; a half sister, Dulcinea Andrews, as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother William and his sister Elizabeth.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300).  Honouring Wendell's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A graveside service will take place at the Sackville Cemetery on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11 am.

Donation in memory of Wendell may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
