It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Helen Jean Ward, age 82, of Sackville, NB.  Helen passed away at the Drew Nursing Home on Friday, December 18, 2020.

Born in Sackville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Jessica (Chase) Beal.

Helen was a caring and loving lady.  Christmas was her favorite time of year; she enjoyed the joy and beauty of the season  Helen loved her family, above all her two daughters Kimberly and Karen; her husband, as well as her extended and step family.  Helen began her career at the Enterprise Foundry, then worked for many years at the Motor Vehicle/Revenue Office in Sackville.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Jack Nicholson, Sackville, NB; daughter; Karen Ward, Amherst; step-children, Kasey Nicholson, Beaumont, AB, Vonda Cummings, Calgary, AB, Linda Nicholson Beaumont, AB, Danny Parsons, Sackville,  NB and Tim Lambert, Markham, ON; sisters-in-law, Ruth Beal, Amherst, NS, Ruby Beal, Shubenacadie, NS, Margaret Beal, Aline Beal, and Joyce Beal, all of Sackville, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter Kimberly in 2002.  The last of her immediate family she was also predeceased by all her brothers Victor, Norman, Ronald, Chesley, Murray, Kenneth, Harry, and Gordon; 2 infant sisters Doris and Shirley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm.  Special Rite of Christian Burial, Fr. Craig O’Brien SSC, officiating, on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2 pm from the Jones Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.
