It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gladys Dianne Chapman Allen after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Dianne passed away at home in Bayfield on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 with her loving husband by her side.

Born in Middle Sackville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Hibbert and Gladys (Turner) Chapman.

Dianne worked at Marshlands Motor Inn for 14 years.  She loved making pickles, beets, and jam.  She received great pleasure from giving to people in need, and often provided Christmas to families anonymously as "Santa".  She loved her family and her animals and has fed raccoons for years and years, up to 25 at one time.

Dianne will be dearly missed by her husband Winston, Bayfield, NB; children Sherry (John) Estabrooks, Sussex, NB, Tim (Stephanie Bailey), Sackville, NB, Chris (Amy), Sackville, NB, Kim (Jeff) LeBlanc, Bouctouche, NB; grandchildren Stacey, Steven, Connor, Jacob, Christopher, Damien, Thorne, and Chastity; great grandchildren, Logan, Bruce and Grace; siblings, Doris Sterling, Ontario, Shirley Hoare, Springhill, NS, Lester Chapman, Dorchester, NB, Oressa Sterling, Sackville, NB; Sister from another mother Cindy Delaney, Bayfield, NB; animals Jake, Jewel, Chico, Sadie, Whiskers, and BB.

She was predeceased by her infant son, siblings Phyllis Ward, Hedley Chapman, Roderick Chapman, Ronald Chapman, Harris Chapman, and Birdie O'Blenis.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where her Life will be Celebrated at a private family service.
