It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Bruce Edward
Brownell, 55, of Sackville at the Sackville Memorial
Hospital in the early hours of Monday, August 24, 2020.
Bruce was born May 25, 1965, a son of Hazel (Bob) Berry and the late
Alton Brownell.
Bruce had been a skilled carpenter who
took great pride in his work. He was very well known for his
expertise and spent many weekends helping anyone who
asked.
Bruce was well known for his sense of
humour. He was an amiable person who was also a bit of a prankster.
Bruce was an avid and talented musician who could play almost any
instrument. He loved to hunt and spend time out doors. He
was a lover of animals, especially cats and dogs.
Bruce will be sadly missed by three
children, Lesley, Taryn and Olivia Brownell, all of Sackville; their
mother, Tracey Brownell; two grandchildren, Cohen and Adelynn, both of
Sackville; his mother, Hazel (Bob) Berry; siblings, Jean, John
(Bonnie), and Stanley Brownell; his
step-brothers Graham and Steven, as well as numerous
nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and extended
family.
Besides his father, Bruce was
predeceased by his brother Leslie and a granddaughter,
Sara.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge
Street, Sackville (506-364-1300). Honouring Bruce's wishes, cremation
has taken place and there is to be no visitation or services.
The family wishes to extend their
sincere gratitude to the staff of the Sackville Memorial Hospital for
their care and compassion during this time.
