Francis Cormier, age 78, of Dorchester Cape, NB, went to be with her Lord on August 13th, 2020, at the Drew Nursing Home in Sackville, NB.
Born in Port Elgin, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sarah (Babineau) McGraw.
Francis was married for 59 years to the late Allan B. Cormier. Together they had seven children, twenty grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Francis worked as a full-time homemaker, housekeeper, and childcare giver. She will be remembered for her loving and caring nature, a reflection of her devotion to Christ. She had a true friendship with her husband. They shared a love of the outdoors and had many adventures together. She enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her many pets and animal friends. Proud of her family, she supported them constantly in prayer, and often reminded them, "With God all things are possible." She had a strong God-given intuition which she used to guide and counsel her children and grandchildren, remaining their greatest encourager and cheerleader.
Francis will be sadly missed by her seven children, Daniel (Gina), Kentville; Robert (Melissa), Sackville; Lisa (Gary) Arnold, Calgary; Isaac (Andrea), Dorchester; Timothy (Stacy), Sackville; Rebekah (Ryan) Douthwright, Notre Dame; Sarah (Mihai) Gherase, California.
Francis was predeceased by her brother Reginald and survived by her brothers and sisters Meleme, Nelson, Bertha, Tina, Mary, Michael, Norman, Richard, and Simone.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). The funeral will be Live-Streamed on Sunday, August 16th at 5 p.m., and will be officiated by Rev. Daniel Cormier. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service is by invitation only.
