It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Rodney Bragg, age 58, of Dorchester.  Paul passed away at the Dr. Georges L. DuMont Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer on Monday, August 10, 2020.

Born in Paris, ON, he was a son of Anne (Voynich) Bragg and the late Harold Bragg.

Paul was an inspiration and motivator to all who knew him.  Paul served over 20 years on the Dorchester Fire Department and was a dedicated medical trainer. He was devoted to the safety of others, spending most of his free time giving first aid courses and offering medical first responder services.  Paul loved fishing and working outdoors, but hated the cold.  He never took a sunny day for granted; he knew it would only last for so long.  He worked for Mount Allison University Security for many years where he was loved by his co-workers.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Monique Benoit-Bragg, Dorchester; daughters Shelby, Moncton and Madison (Jesse Landry), Sackville, NB; step sons Jean Francois, Dorchester, and Jean Philippe, Fredericton, NB; siblings Laurie (Leo), Victoria, BC, Alan (Barb) Wingham, ON, Christine (Barry), Port Elgin, ON.

He was predeceased by his father and his brother Roger Bragg.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).  Cremation has taken place.  An Afternoon of Remembrance will be held for Paul on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 1 until 4 pm at the Jones Funeral Home.

Paul's family wish to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ronald Robichaud and Dr. Sento Filice, as well as all the members of the Dr. Georges L. Dumont ICU.

Those wishing to make a donation in Paul's memory may do so to the Dorchester Fire Department

Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting Paul's online memorial at www.jonesfuneralhome.ca or through the Jones Funeral Home Facebook Page.
