Kenneth "Ken" E. McManaman
It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Kenneth "Ken" McManaman, age 82, of Sackville, NB. Ken passed away at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville on Monday, August 10, 2020.
Born in Sackville, NB, he was a son of the late John and Louise (Milner) McManaman.
Ken was a member of the Sackville Volunteer Fire Department for 28 years; a member of the Sackville Royal Canadian Legion for over 45 years. A good bowler, he was known as "golden arms". He also enjoyed curling, slo-pitch and golf. He worked at the Sackville Post Office for over 30 years.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 51 years, Gloria (Casselman) McManaman, Sackville; sons John (Lindsay), Riverview, NB and Jeff, St. Antoine, NB; 7 grandchildren, Sam, Isabel, Dom, Jake, Charlotte, Edward "Teddy", and Ethan; sister Mona (Roland) Beal, Sackville, NB; several nephews and a niece.
He was predeceased by infant brother John.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB, (506-364-1300), where an Afternoon of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm, with a moment of reflection at 3 pm. In keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that visitors wear a mask and respect social distancing.
