Dora Helen Beal

It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Dora Helen Beal, age 68, of Sackville, NB.  Dora passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Sackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Avis (Hicks) Ricker.

Dora worked at Marshlands Inn in her early years, then at Mount Allison University for 26 years.  She was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sackville Fire Department from 1977 to present.  Her grandchildren were a joy to her.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Norman, Sackville, NB; daughter Vicky (Rodney) Paterson, Sussex, NB; son, Michael, Sackville, NB,  4 grandchildren, Brandon, Kristopher, Madison and Megan; brother Ronnie (Alice) Ricker, Sackville, NB; brother-in-laws, Roger (Maryann) Beal, Arnold (Jean Ann) Beal, Larry (Liz) Beal, Darryl Beal, Sister-in-laws, Diane (Ray) Melanson, Wanda (Don) Beal; mother-in-law Loretta Beal, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where public visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, all are welcome to attend visiting hours.  Dora's funeral service will be invitation only, but will be live streamed on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 2 pm from Jones Funeral Home.  The Live Stream may be watched live, or after by visiting her obituary on  Burial will follow in the Midgic Cemetery.
