It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Louise Marguerite
Sears, 85, of Aulac, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital
on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Louise was a daughter of the
late Russell and Isabel (Anderson) Phinney.
Louise had loved square dancing and
traveling with Bill. She enjoyed baking and was best known
for her shortbread cookies. She enjoyed trips to the US to
go shopping with her sisters. Louise was devoted and
dedicated to her family.
She will be dearly missed by her
children Terry (Brenda MacGregor), Amherst, NS, Brenda (David)
Redgers, Burlington, ON and Debbie Sears, Sackville; grandchildren
Christopher, Amanda, Michael, Tina and Laura; great grandchildren,
including Ashley, Kai and Caden; one great great granddaughter
Gabrielle; her siblings, Judy Mann, Donna Fury and Barbara Smith; as
well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by her husband, William (Bill), her siblings, Lottie, Dorothy,
Alberta, Lloyd, Gerald, Roderick, Douglas, Robert and
Keith.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge
Street, Sackville (506-364-1300) from where a time of public
visitation will be held 6-8 pm on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
Please bring your masks and respect social distancing
measures. A by-invitation funeral service will be held at
the funeral home on Monday, July 27 at 2 pm. The service
will be available to view on Louise's obituary on the funeral home
website.
Donations in memory of Louise may be
made to the Midgic Cemetery or the Midgic Baptist
Church.
